 Ingredients Chicken Marinade
 2 lbs Chicken Breast 
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
2 Tbsp SFC Seasoning

 

 Ingredients For Fying
 2 lbs Marinated Chicken Breast (see above)
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Corn Starch
2 Tbsp  SFC Seasoning
Oil for Frying
Toppings 
Tortillas, Taco Shells, Cauliflower Tortillas or Jicama Wraps
Lettuce
Pico de Gallo
Cheese
SBE "Shane's" Sauce

Recipe

Step 1

  • In a bowl mix: Chicken Breast, 2 Cups of Buttermilk, 2 Tbsp of hot sauce and 2 Tbsp of SFC seasoning.  Place mixture in the fridge for 2-4hours.

Step 2

  • Make SBE "Shane's" Sauce for topping.  See how here.

Step 3

  • In a bowl mix: 2 cups of Flour, 1 Cup of Corn Starch, 2 Tbsp of SFC Seasoning.

Step 4

  • Once the chicken is ready, pat dry to remove excess buttermilk.  Put Chicken strips in flour, make sure to shake off excess flour.  Place on parchment paper and place in freezer for 30 minutes.

Step 5

  • Once chicken is in the freezer, start heating your oil.  Oil needs to be 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Step 6

  • In small batches fry your chicken. If you use a shallow pan like I did, cook for 4-6  minutes per side.  If you are straight dunking those bad boys in a pot of oil, cook for 8-12 minutes.  Cook until internal temp is 165 degrees F ( 74 degrees C)

Step 7

  • Once chicken has cooked set aside and let it rest, while you prep the tortillas or taco shells.

Step 8

  • If you are using corn, cauliflower or flour tortillas and are cooking on a grill, throw the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds to a minute per side. If you are using a gas stove do the same as for the grill.  For shells, follow the instructions on the box the shells came in.

  • Assemble Tacos.
